Chapter 33 The Match

• Ciara came to the patrol’s main base alone because she thought she already knew the way there. What she didn’t consider was that no one would greet her kindly when they saw her. Well, there was one person who greeted her with a smile. Scott’s friend named Sewell, scuttled over to her and looked behind her.
• “Where is Mr. Griffith?” he asked. He looked back one more time, then looked at Ciara.
• “Er—he, still at his house.” She bit the inside of her lip and turned her gaze toward the team members who were observing her. “Am I going to fight them all?” she asked.
