Chapter 28 The Cassette Store

• Half an hour later Ciara and Scott came out with a box of desserts, followed by the store manager and the waitress who had been laughing at Ciara. They kept saying sorry, even after Scott took Ciara across the street and into a shop.
• After making sure the people from the pastry shop couldn’t see them anymore, Ciara pulled her hand from Scott’s grip. “Is it necessary?” she asked. “Isn’t it natural for them to laugh at me for my ignorance?”
• They are now in a shop that contains box-shaped objects of small and large sizes. On each box were pictures of people Ciara didn’t know, or some were just colorful writing and pictures.
