Chapter 30 Running Out Of Patience

• Deftly, Scott scooped Ciara in his arms and half ran towards the car. He opened the passenger door, threw her on the seat, then got into the driver’s seat and started the engine.
• “Close the door,” he ordered. Ciara reached out and pulled open the door, and someone’s hand appeared from behind, gripping her hand.
• She screamed, Scott widened his eyes in terror. He stepped on the gas pedal and the man who caught Ciara’s hand was dragged away. Even so, the man did not release his grip.
