Chapter 5 And So It Begins
- "You shouldn't have accepted me if you knew you would never consider me your Luna Queen!" a female voice echoed within the dark room. Trinia was present, but the darkness made it impossible for her to see.
- "Who are you?" Trinia called out into the darkness, attempting to move further into the room. However, she accidentally bumped her leg against a hard object and fell to the ground. "What the hell!" she cursed in frustration. Suddenly, the lights flickered on, revealing a large room and two individuals engaged in a heated argument. Since their backs were turned toward her, she couldn't see their faces. Trinia stood up and cautiously approached them. When she finally saw their faces, she gasped in surprise. Pointing at the real Vanessa and Ansel, she exclaimed, "That's her, and he's the disrespectful man! They can't see me?" Trinia waved her hands in front of their faces, but it had no effect. They remained oblivious to her presence.
- "All I want is for you to feel the pain I felt when you ruined everything for me!" Ansel yelled at Vanessa, his hand grasping her throat. "I despise you, Vanessa. I want you dead!" He forcefully slapped her across the face. "Die!" he shouted, tightening his grip around her neck.
- Vanessa struggled to breathe and retaliated by slapping Ansel's hand away.
- "Please, stop hurting her!" Trinia attempted to intervene, but her hands passed through them, causing her to stumble to the ground. She observed their altercation and concluded that they had a turbulent relationship. "He's despicable!" Trinia spoke up as Ansel pushed Vanessa to the ground.
- "One day, when you manifest your powers, I'll kill you," Ansel threatened before storming out of the room.
- Vanessa broke down in tears, collapsing on the floor. "Why me?" she sobbed, striking her chest. "Why do I have to endure so much pain?"
- Trinia couldn't bear witnessing Vanessa's suffering any longer. She stood up and approached Vanessa, who remained unaware of her presence. "I'll make sure he pays for what he did to you."
- "No one can help me," Vanessa murmured, raising her head to glance at Trinia, but her gaze seemed fixed on something else. Following Vanessa's line of sight, Trinia discovered a green book. Vanessa pointed towards the book. "I hope someone sees this book and recognizes my pain," Vanessa sobbed before lowering her finger.
- Intrigued, Trinia stood up and approached the book, curious about its contents. However, just as she was about to reach it, the lights suddenly went out. "What's happening?" Trinia shouted. "Please turn on the lights!" She called out, but before she knew it, someone forcefully shoved her, causing her to scream. Her scream echoed in the room, and Trinia found herself jolting awake.
- "Your Majesty," Tara, the head physician, and her assistants rushed towards her upon hearing the screams, only to find Trinia on the floor. "Your Highness, are you alright?" Tara inquired.
- Trinia looked around and realized she was in a different place. It had all been a dream.
- "I need to find that book," she muttered as she attempted to stand up. However, her legs gave way, and she nearly fell, but Tara and the doctor rushed to her aid, assisting her back onto the bed. Trinia noticed her head was bandaged as she absentmindedly touched it. "I must have injured myself badly in that accident," she remarked, rubbing her forehead.
- "Your Highness, you must rest! I'll inform the king immediately," Tara said, preparing to leave.
- "I am not who you think I am," Trinia revealed. "I should be dead, but I somehow ended up in her body, and she died in my place. I know this may sound crazy, but I need to find that book and understand what's happening!" Trinia explained, but Tara looked at her with a puzzled expression. "You don't believe me, do you?" Trinia asked.
- Tara forced a smile and gently rubbed Trinia's hand. "Your Highness, you were involved in a terrible accident. You would have died if the Alpha King hadn't donated his blood to save you."
- Trinia blinked twice, still oblivious to the situation. Ansel had promised to kill Vanessa in her dream, yet he had saved her instead. "I..." Her words trailed off as she noticed a pair of golden eyes staring at her from the entrance of the room.
- "Your Majesty!" Tara and the other doctors bowed their heads as Ansel entered the room.
- "Leave!" Ansel commanded, dismissing them from the room.
- "Yes, Your Highness," they responded in unison, bowing before exiting.
- Ansel approached Trinia, stopping at the edge of the bed and standing in front of her. "You've been quite a problem for me. Initially, I thought you were someone else, but the doctor convinced me that you have amnesia."
- Amnesia? Trinia sighed and lowered her head. She wasn't suffering from amnesia; she had been transmigrated into someone else's body. "And what is your point?" Trinia asked.
- "I'll tolerate your tantrums until your memory returns, but this will be the last time you disrespect me in public!"
- Trinia stared at him, perplexed at how a seemingly perfect man could be so abusive. She had no idea why Ansel despised Vanessa, but she was determined to learn more about their relationship. She needed to uncover the truth about the woman she saw in her dreams and the green book.
- "The meeting with the elders has been rescheduled once again. Once you're well, we will proceed," he informed her as he moved closer. However, Trinia stopped him with her hands.
- "I don't want you near me!" she yelled, recalling a scene from her dream. "You don't deserve to be close to me."
- "Ungrateful!" Ansel shouted, refusing to listen. "I am the Alpha King." He grabbed her hand tightly. "I'm not sure if you're pretending to have lost your memory, but don't underestimate me!"
- Trinia laughed. "Stop underestimating me, and I'll stop underestimating you!"
- "You have no idea what you're saying! I am the Alpha King, and you should show me more respect!" He raised his hand, preparing to strike her, but Trinia anticipated the movement and pushed him away. Ansel stumbled backward, colliding with the door of the room.
- "What just happened?" Trinia exclaimed, looking at her hands in disbelief. "Did I do that?" She glanced at Ansel, who struggled to rise from the floor.
- "What in the world was that?" Ansel brushed his silver hair away from his face, turning to face Trinia. "Did you gain powers?"
- Trinia examined herself, perplexed by his question. "What do you mean by powers?" she inquired. "Is this some kind of fantasy world?" When he didn't respond, she squealed with excitement. "This is amazing!"
- Ansel looked at her, bewildered at how Vanessa had transformed from a timid and meek woman into an outspoken one. "What is wrong with her?" he muttered to himself, puzzled by her joy at his downfall.

- A man in a black cloak entered a dimly lit room. As he approached the center, the lights flickered on, revealing another man seated on an iron throne, his face concealed behind a mask. "My Lord, her abilities have finally manifested!" the man in the black cloak announced.
- "Hmm," the masked man replied with a smile and a nod. "Excellent, let the planning begin," he said.
- "Of course, my Lord," the cloaked man responded, snapping his fingers before disappearing in an instant, leaving the masked man alone in the room.
- "And so it begins," the masked man chuckled.
