Chapter 5 Danna, From The Ground

  • Danna, from the ground, sobbed as she looked directly into her companion's dark eyes.
  • "Please don't kill me. I didn't do anything to you, I fell into a trap, please believe me," he begged desperately.
  • Eros felt sorry to see his companion in this state. He had developed a strong bond with her and it pained him to make her suffer, but as the alpha of the alphas, he also had to maintain respect and authority among the pack. What she had done could not be ignored or forgiven without due punishment. With a serious look on his face, he surveyed the men around him, knowing he would have to make a decision.
  • "Take her by the shoulders." He ran his hand down her back and tore her shirt, then gave her the first whipping.
  • Danna let out a high-pitched scream as her tears began to flow rapidly. Eros gave her a second lash. Danna felt an unbearable burning with each lash. She decided to swallow the pain and, from the second lash, looked up to see Gin laughing wryly in the distance. Then she looked angrily at all the old people in the room and, on the fifth lash, she couldn't stand it and fainted.
  • "Take her to her room, Ophelia, let her heal her wounds and keep her locked up."
  • Fabricio approached Eros and tapped him on the shoulder.
  • "This omega must know his place, and we expect you to follow the pack." Saying this, he left with the other members of the council.
  • Ofelia was working in the kitchen area when she heard the screams, went to see and wept at the scene she saw. When she heard the alpha say that she should cure the omega, she ran to her room and grabbed some medicinal ointments. She then hurried to her room and one of the men let her in. Seeing the girl lying on her back on the bed with open wounds, he approached and opened a small bottle, stuck his index finger in, took out the ointment and began to spread it carefully.
  • "Look how they left you, child. I don't know what you did to deserve this cruelty." As she spread the cream, she ran her hand over Danna's belly and felt a ball: "Oh, moon goddess, this child is pregnant."
  • Danna then opened her eyes and heard what Ophelia said.
  • "What did you say?"
  • The lady looked at her with a twinkle in her eye and repeated.
  • "Girl, you're going to have a little wolf soon."
  • "No, no, no. This can't be happening to me, I can't have that wretch's child."
  • Hedé was sad about what had happened, but when she heard that she was going to have a puppy, she started jumping for joy. It was good news in the midst of what they were going through.
  • Danna, feeling her wolf's joy, sighed resignedly and tried to sit up, she could see that the pain had subsided a little, she knew that the ointment had an analgesic effect. With fear in her eyes, she said.
  • "Please, ma'am, don't say anything to anyone. You're a noble soul, swear to me that no one will find out, please, my son's life is in danger," she begged with agony in every word.
  • "All right, I'll respect your decision."
  • Ophelia, the elderly wolf, hugged Danna tenderly, trying to comfort her as the young woman wept in despair.
  • In the midst of her anguish, Danna asked herself over and over again: "Why did they do this to her? What did I do to them to deserve this pain? Why do they hurt me like this?"
  • It was late at night, Danna was asleep and woke up in despair when she felt an immense pain in her mark, a twinge that burned her. Her wolf connected immediately.
  • "Our companion has marked another she-wolf!" Hedé let out a grunt of pain and lay on the ground with his head resting on his paws.
  • "You betrayed us, Hedé. I've already lost the right to be your moon," she exclaimed with pain in her heart. Tears streamed down her face as she felt the baby move inside her womb, as if sensing her anguish. She knew that her son's bond with his father's pack had been completely severed.
  • Desperate, she put her hands to her belly, looking for some way to protect the baby, and begged the moon goddess.
  • "My beloved moon goddess, I am your most fervent devotee. Please don't let my baby suffer and help me escape from this pack. If this snake finds out about my pregnancy, it will kill my baby."
  • She tried to control her panic, knowing that this was necessary to calm her son. She curled up into herself, planning the possibilities of escape.
  • The next day, Ophelia entered the room with a tray of food and the medicine in her hands. Danna was looking out of the window, but turned her head when she heard the soft tinkle of the door opening and was met with a warm smile.
  • "My child, how did you wake up?" asked Ofelia as she approached the small table to place the tray on it.
  • "What did you hear in the mansion?" asked Danna in a cold tone.
  • The old woman swallowed, not knowing how to say what Gin was spreading through the corridors. Danna, noticing the nervousness in the old woman's eyes, says again.
  • "Speak up, Ophelia, don't stay silent."
  • "Gin is spreading the news that the Alpha has marked Mrs. Labia."
  • "I already know that. What else do you know?" asked Danna in a firm tone.
  • "Just that, my child. Come and eat for the baby's sake," offers Ophelia, trying to change the subject.
  • Danna sat down to eat, but couldn't help asking about the surveillance of the mansion. Eros hasn't returned to his room and she stares out of the window, devising a plan to protect her son.
  • It took him three days to unlock the window. That afternoon, after her room had been cleaned, she turned on the shower and carefully broke the bathroom mirror. She cut her hand with the blow, but she didn't care. Wounded, she removed all the sheets from the bed and cut them into three pieces. She began to tie them together with all her strength. She tied the rope she had made to the bed and, when the security guards changed, she checked that the rope would support her weight and hurried down the wall outside the mansion. When he reached the ground, he noticed a group of five men at the entrance.
  • "At least the mansion faces the forest. Help me, moon goddess, for my baby," he stammered softly, then after several mouthfuls of air and seeing the men distracted, he ran with all his might. The men noticed how a naked woman ran past them without giving them time to react.
  • Danna transformed into Hedé and ran through the dense, dark forest. She could hear the howls of the hunting wolves. Tired, Hedé felt that she had had enough. Finally, she reached the bank of a river and handed it to Danna, who knelt exhausted, with sore feet, naked and breathless, feeling the agitated movement of her cub in her belly and, with what little strength she had, begged.
  • "Moon Goddess, don't let me lose my baby. I'll do whatever you want, I'll accept any condition you ask of me." Exhaustion overwhelmed her and she lost consciousness.
