• The next day, meetings began between the alphas. Three more packs had been attacked by Manticola. Danna made the decision to send these packs to her own kingdom. Uncertainty overwhelmed her, as she didn't know what they would face, but it seemed the best option to send them there. The plan was clear: as soon as Danna managed to recover her herds and restore security, the alphas and their people would return to the lands to the south. In the meantime, the alphas and warriors who hadn't been wounded in the attacks would stay behind to support the queen. The unity of the alphas and their willingness to sacrifice their own safety for the common good was evident.
