Chapter 7 A New Queen

• Princess Claire scream out her lungs losing her compose when Emma ordered guards to escort her out of the coronation hall.
• She is force out as she make to protest and stop the ceremony, she is supposed to be crown Queen by his side but he is having another woman take her place beside him.
• Queen Madison get up from her seat despite Queen Luciana asking her to sit back down, she rush after Claire and yell at the guards to let go of her with a glare.
• “Are you okay?” she asked looking really upset about her ruffle dress and how she has been disgrace right in front of everyone.
• Claire brush her hands off in anger and try to get in again but the door is shut at her face, she open her mouth in shock and want to yell again but it occur to her that it would be a futile effort.
• Prince Michael has watch Emma asked her to be taken out without saying any word to stop her or help save her face.
• Rather he stand beside Princess Emma and turn his back at her picking his selfish interest over her.
• She has been deceived thinking that he really isn’t interested in owning power and thought he could tame but rather he is trying to tame her.
• There is no way she would let this happen, Aither is her Kingdom and she would sacrifice her life to stop Silverbell from coveting it.
• She turn around to the kitchen and meet the few maids hurrying to make ready the feast for the ceremony and she asked them all to leave.
• “Brings drinks to the hall now” she order
• Without resisting she get start on the biggest pot of stew to the smallest pot of meal and make sure to pour as many ingredient left in the container.
• She feel a sharp pain in her lower abdomen and stop with the desert, she really hasn’t been taking care of herself and at the risk of having someone find out, she has refuse to see a doctor.
• Claire almost lose her stand on the small stool she has climb and get up holding her stomach, luckily, Queen Madison who is still worried knowing her daughter has follow after her.
• She did not stop her from ruining the food seeing how fierce she is, but when she see her groan and holding er stomach, she rush over and grab her arms
• “What is wrong Claire?” Queen Madison cry out and help her find a good place to sit even though she is being stubborn.
• “Help to my room” she ask her knowing the maids must be on their way back.
• Queen Madison help her quickly to her room and she quickly remove the tight strips she has tied around her stomach to prevent the protruding belly from getting notice.
• Seeing her bare stomach, Queen Madison move closer to be certain she is not hallucinating the situation.
• “Are you…?” she stutter shock and dismay
• “Get me something to relieve the pain” Claire scream at her and try to lie down but it did not help the pain.
• “You are pregnant!” she cry.
• She did not have the time to distinct whether to cry for joy or be unhappy about the shocking news when Claire cry out in pain.
• Immediately, Queen Madison run out grabbing her skirt and send for help sending her maid to get someone from her paternal family to send a doctor over.
• In an hour, the Borgnine’s family doctor walk discreetly into the Princess Claire’s quarters dress as a guard to avoid suspicious eyes.
• Queen Madison pace around the room and sneak a peek at whatever the doctor is doing while her maid tries to keep her calm. It take a while before the doctor come out of the curtain.
• “Her Highness is in danger and so is the baby” The doctor let out as soon as he comes out.
• Fear grip Queen Madison heart and she find her legs become wobble, she can not believe how unobservant she has been and did not notice her own daughter is pregnant.
• “the princess hasn’t really had proper care since her first trimester and she is on to her second”
• “I will need to take care of her back at the house Your Majesty”
• “No she can’t leave” Queen Madison return sharply.
• She does not know why her daughter has kept a good thing like this secret for so long but she is afraid of the consequence of ruining whatever she has in mind to do.
• “You will have to come every day to treat her and please save the baby” she plead.
• The doctor nod without much choice and went back behind the curtain to continue treatment on her.
• Prince Michael now King hold Princess Emma’s hands and turn to the people together as they bow their heads and yell out in one accord

• Queen Emma smile broadly and look at her mother who could barely contain her happiness, she almost can’t believe this day would come.
• It was a dangerous route but she manage to succeed to make herself the Queen of Aither, although there is still one obstacle in her way to become a true Queen with great commands and power.
• But this is it
• If not for her timely idea of making Prince Michael become the King and get Claire off the throne.
• And Eris helping to unravel Claire’s hands in the death and ruination of his brothers, it won’t have been easy to make Prince Michael stumble to their plans.
• Knowing how prideful Claire is, she would never try to explain herself or seek apologize which only make it easy to create more misunderstanding between them.
• Now that she has the power, she can get rid of Claire before she could figure things out and ruin her plans again.
• This time, she will not be in a rush to kill the King and end up losing everything, but she must make hi change the law and pave ease way for her to become the first Queen of Aither.
• King Michael walk down with Princess Emma still smiling hard and flaunting with her eyes on everyone of the royals thinking of the best way to get rid of everyone.
• She might have gotten out of her pretentious mask now but no one is really going to blame her rather they will blame King Michael for being a bad man who covetous his wife’s sister.
