• I hugged Calle back, tears streaming down my face. I knew what he was referring to. "It's okay," I said, trying to reassure him through my tears. "We'll get our power back and defeat Lennon together."
• He nodded, wiping away my tears. Then he took a deep breath and stood up. His voice was strong when he spoke again. "Yes, we will indeed," he said determinedly. "But first we have to figure out how to save the pack before any of that can happen."
