• With all the shits that happened these past few days, I couldn’t deny that all I wanted—needed—for now, was a good night's sleep with Suzette beside me. The way her seductive gazes explored, the way she touched my wrist, and slid her fingers down to my hand were some evidence of her longing for me.
• I pulled her closer, displaying how badly I craved for her too. But regardless of how I liked to drag her up to my bedroom, I said, “Seeing you made my day, kitten. But right now, I have an important thing to do. See you tomorrow?”
