Chapter 19 Resolution
- Hearts are not supposed to hurt like this. They're not supposed to break so fast.
- Hannah Morales sat on the floor of her living room in her gigantic two-story house, crying her eyes out. She never thought, after years of enduring abuse, that she'd be once again crying over the pain caused by another person. Yet, here she was. Crying over her young lover who had a girlfriend. A hotshot girlfriend. It was too good to be true. The fact that she thought Serenity Gils didn't have a girlfriend. But then again, she'd never put any thought into it. After all, the blonde did say she was in love with her. Hell, she offered her to be used by the older woman. Well, by Mistress. But what difference does it make? The fact remains; Serenity wasn't honest and now she was crying on the floor of her house.
- There should be a court where one could sue their lover for emotional suffering and demand compensation for the pain endured. But then again, there was no compensation for the pain the older woman was suffering from. Because she knew, she'd walk through that path again so long as she got to be with Serenity. Irrespective of the outcome. Hannah's phone vibrated in her pocket. With anticipation, she rummaged through her bag for it, hoping it was her young lover calling to apologise some more. Her heart sank when she read the name 'Maxwell Rasharkin'. The green and red buttons of her phone popped with each vibration.
