• After the conversation with my father, I left the place in a hurry and sat inside another cab. I decided to go to Carlos since I really didn’t have a place to stay at the moment—and I could’ve burdened Isabella, but I realised it was too quick for me to ask her to let me stay at her place. Obviously, I figured that she’d be happy if I asked, but it would probably affect our relationship in a negative sense.
• On the other hand, I knew Carlos would be more than happy to let me stay if he could—and that it’d probably be better after the little outburst at the hospital.
