• I woke up with a strong headache and a terrible pain in my hand. I groaned as I looked around the huge room, and realised I had slept in the base last night after getting drunk. Flashes from the last night conversation started coming back to me, and I was shocked to realise I remembered most of it even after being both high and drunk.
• Dragging myself to the bathroom, I quickly turned on the shower and let the hot water wash away the soreness of my skin. Taking a look at my tattoo, I realised the letters that were originally faded enough, were almost invisible now but the square wound remained as before. There were a lot of emotions attached to the scar—I couldn’t believe I had his name tattooed on my bone. I mean, that’s some cult-level love, isn’t it?
