Chapter 30 Forced to Buy

• An employee sneaked over to Jay's office and relayed a message to him. "Bad news, Mr. Barker. Corey has promoted Emily to the sales department's deputy director."
• Jay closed his eyes and heaved a sigh. He had always wanted to install his own lieutenants into the sales department, especially in the positions of sales director and deputy director, but Corey gave the position of deputy director to Emily all of a sudden. There was nothing he could do, however. After signing Southville's deal the day before, Emily was supposed to be the deputy director according to the rules. "I see. Get back to work." Jay waved the whistle-blower down.
• Yvonne cried loudly. The more she thought about it, the more unfair she felt. She had worked in this company for so many years, and when she thought she could finally be a deputy director, this sudden change came, and she suffered a slap from Jay for nothing. She lost so much that the only thing she could do to vent it out was cry.
