Chapter 15 Corey and Emily's Photo

• Corey's presence seemed to freeze time as if he were the center of the universe. Then, Cindy joined him on stage, dressed in a lovely floral gown, and the crowd erupted in applause.
• She was pumped by the thunderous applause. Being in the spotlight was a dream come true for her. As she glanced down from the stage, she spotted her friend Emily at the back of the crowd. She smiled and waved at Emily and Freya.
• Cindy felt accomplished looking down at them from this angle. She used to envy Emily for still attracting men despite being a mother with a fiery personality. But now, standing beside the brilliant Corey in front of everyone, she no longer felt that envy.
