- At the head of the procession was not Alpha John but a tall young man, followed closely by Alpha John, the Luna, and Robert. I noticed immediately that Robert didn't look well. He was carrying the weight of rejection, and I guessed he hadn’t dared to share this with his father.
- My eyes were drawn to the man leading the group. He was dressed in a casual black suit, not the formal attire typical for such a significant event. His white shirt was unbuttoned at the collar, revealing a glimpse of his chest. On the most important day for our pack, he appeared before everyone with a dignified yet laid-back demeanor. From a distance, there was something familiar about him, but I couldn't place where I had seen him before. I was sure I didn’t know anyone of his stature.
