• About fifteen minutes later, Floren and Laura arrived at the hospital. Following Eliza's orders, Laura went to the hospital to have her pregnancy checked. Laura never regretted her actions because she thought it was all fate. But to forgive Jack, Laura would never be able to. The wounds Jack gave her when he rejected and insulted her were still lingering in Laura's mind.
