• Having to concentrate on our assignment keeps me from dealing with the thoughts of our Mates, mostly thoughts about why they weren’t at the house or why they had a block on the mind-link and of course the Warriors that were supposed to be guarding us.
• I can’t think of anything about their new assignment that could be so important that they forgot about us and our safety, but then again I have no idea what their new assignment is about.
