• Kay stumbles back the moment Maleah pulls her aura back in and I see shock on the faces of our Alphas, even I didn’t know an Assassin could pull back their aura that fast. Dad taught me to pull it back slowly to avoid getting dizzy or disoriented, but it doesn’t seem to affect Maleah at all and I think I understand why no one ever heard any of her victims cry for help.
• “I believe you owe Alpha Dominic an answer.” Maleah says as she steps back and Dominic steps forward to repeat his question. She glances at Maleah before she tells him she got offered a lot of money for the Pups, all she had to do was make sure they were dropped at a certain spot in the forest and the rest would be taken care of. None of them had counted on Fortune being out there or for Maleah to have the gifts she has.
