• Maleah’s p.o.v.
• Levi and Mack are talking downstairs and I quietly walk to my office to get the essay, I need to find out what I forgot about it. Fortune is still somewhere deep in the back of my mind and she is not responding to any of my questions, looks like I have to figure this out on my own.
• Before I can close the door to my bedroom I hear the front door close and I feel a little sad that Mack has left for the day, but it isn’t as bad as I had thought.
