Chapter 357 Hatred for Eliza
- This was a predicament. Shawn still hadn't told me about this, but I could understand why. He too was stuck between a rock and a hard place. On one hand, he had to protect his mother, but on the other, he had to protect me as well. It was understandable, but my heart still ached.
- I hurried downstairs and plopped down on the couch, still figuring out how to deal with the latest problem. Eliza killed my mother, no doubt about that. There wasn't even a need to investigate. I knew my hunch was right, but it was all the more reason to feel helpless. I couldn't possibly kill Shawn's mother. But if I couldn't have revenge, I couldn't face my mother either.
- Try as I might, I still had no way of resolving this issue without causing even more branching problems. I was certain Shawn felt the same way I did. I can't have Robert find this out. He's too unpredictable. He might go off the wrong end and take his fury out on Shawn. So, I quickly called him.
