Chapter 56

• Ruth knew that Amber wasn’t exactly an easy person to deal with and therefore she wondered why she gave them such an expensive gift. May be she had decided to forgive her for real and that will work better for her as she wanted to convince her to favour her daughter for Willy for the sake of the friendship that they shared in the past. But now as she looked at her emotionless and distance look she wouldn’t dare bring up the subject, so she chose to keep quiet and may be later she will find a reason to approach her.
• The quietness in the room was so thick that it started getting uncomfortable for those who were present, so Ruth and Nina decided to excuse themselves and go back to their house. When they left Sally sighed a relief and decided that the unpleasant presence of those two who have made her life a living hell will not dampen her moods. She intended to enjoy this free time she has been able to get courtesy of Nina and she won’t change it.
