- Sandra blinked her eyes at him and thought for a moment before she said, “I wouldn’t say that about him if I were you”, “and why is that dear wife?", Levy asked raising his eyebrows. “never mind let’s enjoy the party and at least eat some cake before that crazy man finishes it all” said replied. “Oh by the way where is mum? If I’m not mistake today is her birthday also”, Sandra asked Levy as they made their way to their table. Levy raised his eyebrows at her and said teasingly, “I didn’t know you’re such a good daughter in law to even know when is your mother in law’s birthday, by any chance do you also know my birth date?”, he asked.
- Sandra rolled her eyes at him and said, “happy family, happy mother in law”. Levy was rendered speechless by her reply since when did she care about other people and does her reply mean she does not know when his birthday is if so isn’t he the biggest joke of a century. He went forward to nag her but they met his mother so he swallowed the words he wanted to say, the last thing he needed was being making his mother angry and get on his father’s bad side. “Oh Grace you’re here so that old man had to cut the cake without you but I promise you got you the best give”, Sandra said hugging her mother in law who just arrived. She parted her back and said, “it’s nothing I know how crazy the oldies can get with the cake”, “let’s go and get a share before that old thug finishes it all", Sandra said taking her mother in law’s hand leaving Levy speechless. He had a feeling that in the near future, his mother will take his wife side and he will never have a say in their argument, “not even a hi”, he said under his breath.
- After the cake saga, principal Edward took the microphone once again and said, “I have been waiting for this birthday for so long, not for anything else but for my granddaughter’s gift, now if you forgive me once again, I would like to invite my granddaughter to give me my gift”, everyone rolled their eyes at him wondering why he even got an MC when he knew he will not follow the normal routine.
