Chapter 17

• Sandra and Levy were escorted into a private room, oblivious to the events that had unfolded outside. Unbeknownst to them, the Smith family had been banned from entering any Brovard properties due to their disrespectful behavior.
• Meanwhile, Sandra's mother, Matilda, happened to be at the same branch and overheard the insults hurled at her daughter and herself by the Smith family. Consumed by anger, she promptly ordered the manager and her personal assistant to enforce a ban on the Smith family from all of her properties.
• Matilda had endured the Smith family's mistreatment while living with them, but now that she had chosen to live independently, she refused to tolerate any further disrespect. Though she acknowledged her past failures as a mother and her inability to protect her daughter, she was determined to shield Sandra's properties and uphold her dignity at all costs.
