Chapter 134

As soon as old man Gomez reached home, he called his wife in the study room telling her he has something important they need to discuss. This made his wife to get scared. She began thinking about how mysterious he has been since morning and wondered what could be too important to make him talk and behave like that. She went to the study room and found him lost in thought.
She stood before him for twenty without him noticing until she cleared her voice to attract his attention. “What’s wrong with you?, Why are you lost since morning?”, old woman Gomez asked. Old man Gomez tried his best not to tell her the truth nor show his true emotions to her and said, “it’s nothing to be scared of”. Even though he said that and tried his best to control his emotions, old woman Gomez still detected the sadness in it but she did not continue to ask him about it.
She knew if he could not handle the matter he will ask help from her, since he has not done that, she will not force him to do it. Through out the years in there marriage, old man Gomez has never hide anything from her, she has been his best friend and some one he shares his happiness and soul with. She was so lost in her thoughts that she did not hear old man Gomez calling her until shook her.
