• At C city university, Sandra and her friends were having their breakfast at the school restaurant, they heard students talking about Brovard restaurant and hotels anniversary, they were so happy and excited about it, some students even started showing off how the owner of Brovard restaurant and hotels is their family friend and he has invited them personally, Deborah looked at Sandra with a knowing eye, she said smiling, “why do I have a feeling that it’s going to be a disaster than a celebration party”, Sandra rolled her eyes at her but she did not comment on it neither did she deny it.
• As far as she knows her mother, there was no way for that party to end without storm or hurricane. They continued having their breakfast in silence with Deborah telling Betty how great Sandra’s party always are, she also became eager to attend the party with her family so she looked at Sandra with innocent eyes, Sandra pretended to be enjoying her food so she did not hear what they were saying. Betty coughed to attract her attention but it all went south, so she decided to come straight, “Don’t tell me your not inviting to the party, you know I love to gossip, I can’t miss that party”, Sandra rolled her eyes at her and said, “there’s no way for your family to miss the invitation card so let me eat my food in peace”, “your no fun you know!”, Betty commented. “I’m married so it doesn’t matter”, Sandra replied making, Betty, Deborah and Natasha to roll their eyes, “was she against them the single people”, they wondered.
• The students continued talking about the party, what dress they will wear, they looked at Sandra as they were talking but to their surprise, she was busy eating her food as If everything they were saying did not mean a thing to her, “didn’t they say, she’s the CEO of Lover’s restaurant and she wants to open a new branch here, then why is she pretending not to care?”, one student asked in a voice she was sure Sandra will here, "well she's pretending not to care!”, Clara said looking at Sandra with hatred.
