• I walked into the sitting room and noticed guests were already leaving, while the ones who stayed were chatting with each other. Curious, I moved my gaze in search for Beta Jayson, but he was nowhere around. ''Mia.'' I heard my name being called from the stairs.
• I moved my gaze to the stairs and realized it was Cassandra calling me. ''May I have a word with you.'' She asked and, without waiting for a response, she turned and left. ''What does she want.'' My wolf grumbled while I took the stairs and went after her. I saw her enter Ricardo's room and wanted to stop, but she gestured to me to come in with a friendly smile. ''Maybe she wants to make peace.'' I suggested while my wolf groaned at it.
