- The crooks' hideaway spread inside a thick brush, their stopgap camp settled underneath the protecting shade of transcending trees. The glinting fire enlightened the clearing, projecting a frightful sparkle over the indiscriminate course of action of tents and stopgap covers. Shadows moved and played across the unpleasant slashed walls, giving the camp a practically strange, extraordinary quality.
