• Gwen's POV
• We helped Rhysand into the camp, our joined endeavors a demonstration of the strength of our bond in spite of the pressure that had existed among Jason and Rhysand. As we settled him down, Jason' face stayed a cover of incredible skill, his emphasis exclusively on keeping an eye on Rhysand's wounds. It was an unforeseen presentation of sympathy from somebody who had shown an unmistakable absence of affection for Rhysand before.
• "Jason, I didn't realize you had clinical preparation," I commented, my voice a blend of shock and interest.
