• "He is my boss and there's nothing between us. Trust me, he isn't in love with me," Mercedes took the words out of his mouth but he couldn't explain how he felt about her explanation. He wasn't utterly pleased but if he thought deeply, neither did he have an honest answer to Oliver's question therefore, he remained silent. Oliver on the other hand was still determined. Perhaps he was seeing something that neither of the pair was seeing.

He hadn't heard much about his strange ways but having the conviction that he footed his bills, he wasn't only filled with gratitude but also hoped that Nathan would become an important part of his life. He also saw how much Nathan treated his sister with respect and loving care, and the way her sister's cheeks kept turning pink anytime Nathan was close to her.
