• Gratitude and admiration weighed Mercedes so much, all she wanted to do was please him. Be it for pleasure or not, he has treated her better than she imagined. Sometimes she wondered what kind of person he was. It would have been nice if he had just said he did everything because he cared for her but rather, he said pleasure. If that was what he wanted in return, she was determined to make it worthwhile for him.
