Chapter 6 ) Taking A Tour Of The Mansion

• “Kelly! Come and join your family for lunch!”.
• Kelly was in the kitchen eating when she heard Vivianne's loud voice calling her. She kept her plate of food on the counter and left the kitchen for the dining room.
• “Kel-!”. Vivianne was in the process of calling Kelly's name again, but she halted, when Kelly suddenly showed up in the dining room. “Oh, you're here already, Kelly. Have a seat beside me”. Vivianne said to Kelly with a smile.
• Kelly was stunned because she didn't understand what was going on. In fact, she hesitated to sit down, but since Vivianne urged her to, she later sat down next to Vivianne.
• Even after sitting down, Kelly's heart was strangely beating so fast. And because of how nervous she was, she wasn't able to look at Vivianne's face, or even the twins' faces.
• Vivianne clearly noticed the way Kelly was feeling nervous. So she held Kelly's hands and patted them. “It’s alright, Kelly. I called you over for lunch. From now on, you're free to join us in the dining room. And, no need for you to feel nervous when eating with us”. Vivianne announced with a composed voice, shocking Kelly.
• “Really? But, I…. just nobody”. Kelly admitted and was already feeling hot tears forming in her eyes.
• “You're not a nobody, Kelly. From today onward, you're not allowed to say such a thing about yourself”. Vivianne declared to Kelly, who obediently nodded her head.
• “Little sis, if you're done talking, let's start eating already before the food goes cold”. Garrett pouted his lips when he announced.
• “Sure, big bro”. Vivianne laughed at Garrett and also hit his shoulder as she replied to him. “Let's all eat. Including you, Kelly”. Vivianne concluded.
• More than 30 minutes later,
• Everyone had already finished eating, so Kelly and Vivianne took all the dishes to the kitchen.
• Vivianne wanted to help out with washing the dishes, but Kelly kindly refused to let her do anything.
• Since Vivianne wasn't needed in the kitchen, she left and wisely decided to take a quick tour of the mansion in her free time. Firstly, she went outside the mansion, because she wanted to begin her tour from there.
• After arriving outside the mansion, Vivianne started walking around until she found out where the garden and treehouse were located.
• “Whoa!”. Vivianne exclaimed before she ran to touch the beautiful flowers. The beautiful flowers planted were red roses, daisies, orchids, marigolds and white lilies. And the same species of flowers also beautified the treehouse.
• Vivianne was busy admiring the flowers, when suddenly, her eyes coincidentally met the huge pink flowers which were shaped into the letter ‘V’.
• “No way!”. Vivianne covered her mouth as she gasped in total disbelief. It didn't end there– she rushed to touch the flowers later on. “This is so beautiful. The flowers are shaped into my name's first letter”. She exclaimed and was smiling with excitement.
• “Big brothers must have done this on behalf of me”. Vivianne added as she felt so touched in her heart.
• It didn't take long and Vivianne stopped admiring the flowers and went to the treehouse instead. She climbed the wooden stairs, and upon arriving inside the treehouse, she was greatly amazed and stunned.
• “This is so gorgeous and totally my style!”. Vivianne exclaimed. In fact, she started looking around the treehouse.
• The treehouse had almost everything inside– a huge bed, a big empty wardrobe, a tv, even chairs, desks, a dining place, and sofas. Plus, everything was neatly arranged.
• “Wow. My big brothers are really stylish. This treehouse is really amazing. I'll definitely come here to relax whenever I'm free from work”. Vivianne admitted as she laid comfortably on the huge bed.
• Anyway, Vivianne spent most of her time touring outside the mansion, and after she was sure that she had seen every nook and cranny, she returned inside and continued her tour from there.
• Exactly an hour after touring inside, Vivianne discovered that the mansion has 8 grand bedrooms, two grand dressing rooms, a huge library, 3 study rooms, a huge arcade room, a boxing room, a luxurious garage and so on…
• Since Vivianne had already finished taking a tour of the mansion, she finally decided to rest in the living room.
• Upon arriving in the living room, Vivianne went and sat on the swing sofa because she liked it. After sitting on the swing-sofa, she began to swing it at a really steady pace.
• Vivianne did this swinging action for a while, until she actually became bored over time.
• “Staying indoors is honestly boring and tiring. I can't wait to begin my work as the chairman of Z-company, after tomorrow’s celebration”. Vivianne announced with sparkling eyes, and was already imagining how much Z-company would strive in her leadership.
• Vivianne was still busy imagining stuff, even after Kelly arrived in the living room with a glass of lemonade in her hand.
• Kelly confronted Vivianne with the glass of lemonade, and said to her, “Young miss. Lemonade, I give to you”. After saying this, Kelly offered the glass of lemonade to Vivianne, but because Vivianne was so preoccupied with her thoughts, she didn't answer.
• “Young Miss”. Kelly called Vivianne again, but it was the same thing– Vivianne's mind was preoccupied.
• Now, Kelly had no other choice but to touch Vivianne– which she eventually did. And as soon as she touched Vivianne, Vivianne was brought back to reality.
• “Oh, Kelly”. Vivianne simply said before she saw the glass of lemonade which Kelly was offering to her.
• Vivianne collected the glass of lemonade from Kelly and also greeted her for it.
• Kelly was glad that Vivianne accepted the glass of lemonade from her hand. What even made her more happy was when Vivianne drank the lemonade.
• “The lemonade you made for me is really nice, Kelly. You're full of surprises”. Vivianne admitted, and continued to drink the lemonade.
• Meanwhile, Kelly smiled even more after hearing Vivianne's compliment to her. “Glad, you like it, young miss”. Kelly said to Vivianne.
• “You can just call me Vivianne, Kelly”. Vivianne announced.
• After listening to what Vivianne said to her, Kelly nodded her head and was about to leave. But before she could actually leave, Vivianne called her,
• “Wait, Kelly. Would you like to follow me to my welcoming party celebration tomorrow evening? It's going to be lots of fun, since many people will come”.
• “Em…. I, shy, big sister Vivianne. I prefer staying in the mansion”. Kelly admitted with a shaky voice.
• Vivianne noticed the way Kelly was sweating on her forehead and panicking. At first, she wanted to suspect Kelly, but she naturally thought that Kelly was afraid of people, since it was clearly people who hurt her.
• “Don't stress it, Kelly. I'm not going to force you to come with me if you don't want to. But if you reconsider, I'm all ears”.
• “Thanks”. Kelly greeted Vivianne, before she left the living room in a hurry.
• Kendrick's mansion,
• Brianna had been waiting in the living room ever since the moment she arrived by herself. Honestly speaking, she was so heartbroken because of Kendrick's actions. She didn't imagine that he'd actually leave without her.
• “Why did Kendrick do that to me?! I know that his character is aloof, but what he did to me earlier this afternoon is just too much for me”. Brianna admitted as she tried to force herself not to cry.
• “I was so embarrassed today. Honestly, I'm the mother of his son for crying out loud! So, why did he abandon me?!”. Brianna added before she finally began to cry.
• The sounds of footsteps approaching, immediately caused Brianna to stop crying and even clean her tears.
• Kendrick arrived in the living room with his son asleep in his arms.
• “Hubby?”. Brianna rose from the sofa as she called Kendrick. Actually, she was secretly expecting Kendrick to explain why he left without her.
• Kendrick didn't bother to look at Brianna. He simply took Harry with him upstairs.
• After being ignored by Kendrick, Brianna choked on her own saliva and ended up coughing for a while. Later on, she sat on the floor and continued to cry in silence, as she muttered with a complaining voice, “Why does he behave like a totally different person most times? Is he angry at me for what happened in the past? But it was not my fault. I didn't do anything wrong. I wasn't the one who spiked his drink. Why won't he just believe me?”.
