CHAPTER 70

As the sun rose over the horizon, casting a warm golden glow on the hotel room, Ava woke up to the feeling of Bruce's arm wrapped around her. She turned to him and saw the love and care in his eyes as he looked at her. He leaned in and gave her a tender kiss, taking her breath away.
As they got ready to leave, Ava couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The events of the previous night had been traumatic and she couldn't shake off the feeling of fear that lingered in the back of her mind. And as they walked out of the hotel room with Chloe in tow, she felt a sense of comfort and security in knowing that Bruce was by her side.
As they drove to the police station, Ava couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards Bruce.
