Chapter 42

• “Yes,” Vanessa agreed, “since Sasha will be around, she won’t be needed at night, so she will leave once Sasha is back. That’s preferable.”
• Everybody stared at Michael and he relented, “fine.”
• They got home and the nurse reported to duty. Sasha watched as Michael let her attend to him, something he has never done with her. When the nurse asks him question, he answers with a smile and Sasha found herself growing jealous and depressed. The nurse left in the evening and as Sasha didn’t leave for work that day, she just sat in the living room all through the day.
