Chapter 161 Book 4: Twenty Six
- Sasha was discharged later in the evening and Sapphire and Chris were the most happy when they were going home. Right in the car, Sapphire had started telling her about the things that happened in the school back when she was not around and Sasha listened attentively to her with a smile. Michael was the one driving and Chris was sitting in the front seat with him because Sasha wanted to stay with Sapphire.
- He glanced at them from the rearview mirror, a smile playing on his lips as he felt his heart swelling in happiness. Although Sapphire wasn’t as moody as Chris during Sasha’s absence but he hasn’t seen her talk and laughed so much since she wasn’t around and that made him understand that she had missed her mother too but just wasn’t as obvious as Chris.
- When they got home, Hannah welcomed them and let them know that dinner would be ready soon while she went upstairs with the kids to freshen them up. Sasha went straight to the living room and sat on the couch with her head relaxing on the seat and her eyes closed. Michael wanted to talk to her but he knew she wanted to be alone so he went into the study room to catch up on things he had missed in the office.
