• Aarrggghh” Capri screamed. She threw a fit, breaking things and cursing out her lungs.
• “Aunty you told me this was the perfect chance, what happened huh”
• “Capricorn, do not cause a racket in my house, I am only helping you because I do not want your sister for my son, that doesn’t mean you can disrespect me” Williams step mom ranted
• “But aunty…”
• “ Not another word. Don’t blow your chance, I’m as frustrated as you are” Williams stepmom added
• “But aunty, with the way things are going, I don’t think I have a chance of winning him over “ Capri cried.
• “You won’t try to win him over, you’ll blackmail him. I’ll suggest you lay low for now and let me come up with a better plan”
• ‘ I don’t think I can wait for your plans anymore aunty, not one of your plans has worked. I’m afraid I’ll have to take things into my own hands’ capri thought to herself as she hugged Williams stepmom.

• Landlines ringing…. Calls coming in…. Voices are been heard in the background as Williams walked into his office.
• “Good morning sir , we have pressing matters at hand. You’re all over the internet sir, people are making different post about your supposed girlfriend, should we take down the posts?? A staff followed Williams as he walked towards the elevator
• “ leave them” Williams replied
• “Wha…?, sir but…” the staff tried to speak
• “She’s my fiancé, no need to delete the post”
• Williams cut her short. The staff stood, wide eyed with her mouth wide Opened as she watched her boss walk into the elevator.
• “Did he just say ‘fiancé?’.Since when did our boss have a fiancé ?, oh my God!! “ The staff hurried to the rest of her team to spill the hot gossip. In no time, the entire office was booming with gossips from all angles .

• Williams walked into his office with a smile. He met Zach, who was already there waiting for him.“What’s the status?” Williams asked.
• “Milky Way corp made their move sir” Zach replied.
• Williams smile immediately turned into a frown.
• “And??” Williams inquired
• “They just published their packaging’s newest design. It’s exactly the same with the one we were supposed to launch in a few days sir”. Zach walked up to Williams with a tablet, showing him the problem.
• “ their sales have skyrocketed since last night”
• Williams remained silent, he made a fist and rested his head on it, his jaw clenched as he stared at the tablet. The room immediately went cold.
• Williams was angry.
• “Who have access to our sample” he asked.
• Zach replied “a few board members and the staffs working on the design”.
• “Call for an emergency meeting” Williams ordered coldly.
• “Yes sir” Zach answered.

• Emerald sat in her room staring at her phone. She has been expecting a text or a call from Williams since last night but she got none. She kept staring at her phone, wondering if she should text him instead.
• “I’m planning to play ‘hard to get’, texting him first would be a wrong move” she complained.
• After a few more minutes, she decided to drop her pride and text him

• She stared at her phone, impatiently waiting for a reply but there was none. She felt disappointed and flung her phone in a corner.

• {Williams’s meeting}
• “ Milky Way corp. published our design” Williams said without flinching.
• There were gasps…as the board members started whispering to themselves
• “Silence!!” Williams commanded The room went quiet, they all turned to him.
• “Do you know what that means??” He asked
• They looked at each other and then back at Williams
• “There is a mole amongst us” he said.
• “But sir, how could this happen??, we were so secretive about the drafting of the design” one of the board members said surprised.
• “Which means the mole is an inside person” Williams said conclusively.
• “Sir you can’t just say that without investigation. We have to investigate this matter first” another board member said.
• “Oh yes I will. Of course I’d investigate, in fact I am investigating as we speak”. Williams said In a terrifying manner.
• There were whispers amongst the board members
• “So what do we do now” someone suddenly asked.
• “We get a new design” Williams answered.
• “Drafting that could take months” another person said.
• “Then we start immediately” Williams said as he got up.
• “That’s the end of the meeting” he said then walked out. Zach followed suit.
• “How about Pedro” Williams asked Zach who was following him.
• “ he’s still intact, he’s hasn’t made the wrong move yet, at least he doesn’t want to jeopardize his deal with you” Zach answered.
• “I don’t trust that man. Zach, keep an eye on those board members and also keep watch on the staffs running the project “ .
• Williams said as they entered his office. He unbuttoned his suit jacket and exhaled sharply. Williams fell on his chair looking really stressed and he rubs his temple. He picked up his phone and saw a text from Emerald, he smiled and replied back.

• Emerald who was busy munching on a snack while watching tv suddenly saw her phone screen lit up. She picked it up and saw that it was Williams , she quickly clicked on the text
• ~you wanna hang out for a while?~
• “Tch, who does this trash bag think he is ?. If I wanna hang out?, definitely not with you. I sent a text since this morning, you’re just replying and it’s already evening. He has no respect for women. Whatever, I’m not going” Emerald ranted to herself
• Suddenly another text came in,
• ~come down, I’m at the park close to your house ~
• Emerald flung her snacks and blankets , she threw her legs on a pair of slippers and walked hurriedly out of the house.
• When she got close to the park, she started walking slowly.
• “I’m not some cheap girl you’d call out to a park after ignoring her text all day” she talked to herself while walking as slowly as she possibly could.
