Chapter 3

• They sit across each other, into their fighting positions.
• There’s no swords allowed, just muscles, strength, and fire. She prepares her fists. She won’t make the first move. She knows him, he will go first. 
• The game master says, “Ready...set...go!” and so they start. 
• Jet runs fast and jumps to the air. He pushes his fist back and charges in with fire. She crosses her hands in front of her face to block the attack. 
• He then goes in with a kick, and with a backflip she dodges it. He charges in with hot fire but she again, dodges it. She finds an opportunity and sends a fire wave that knocks him back.
• She smiles. He has no defense system. Her plan is to make him run out of stamina and then she will go in. 
• This goes on for a while. He fires at her, she dodges, he fires again, she hides. Then she fires, and he stops. He is at his limit. 
• ‘Now is the time’, and with that she charges in, with the same move he started and fires from her fists to him. She holds her ground being steady as he fires back. 
• They are both powerful. He goes in and fires from his feet. She wasn’t ready and she gets knocked down. 
• She stands up fast and runs. “Coward, is this all you can do?! Run?! Common and fight me!”. 
• She hides behind a pillar. ‘Shit, I charged too soon’. 
• He fires at the pillar melting it down. She tightens her fists and goes in, punching him emitting fire from her hands. 
• He gets hit a lot and is pushed back. She jumps high, and fire blasts him knocking him to the wall. 
• The crowd screams and she looks up. She smiles.
• ‘I won’, she thinks. 
• She starts celebrating as they scream “LEON!”. 
• Without noticing Jet grabs her from behind and knocks her down. He is pressing her against the ground. He punches her hard to the face. She can feel his pure hate. 
• Some warriors are about to enter the Arena as she turns blue. Killing is forbidden and they try to stop this.
• She can’t breath from the blood. “I won’t lose to you!”, he screams to her while punching her without stopping. 
• ‘I can’t… I have to stop this…’.
• Before she gives up, a memory comes in flooding, a memory she didn’t know she had. It’s a woman, beautiful and tall. She has seen her again in her dreams. But not like this. The woman looks at her saying, “FIGHT, LEONA!”. 
• Tears come running down her cheeks. She puts her hand in front of her face stopping his fist. She looks at him, and her yellow eyes shine mightily, yelling “STOP!”.
• Two wings made of light come out of her eyes, illuminating everything around. The light is strong and spreads through the darkness covering the whole arena like a dome. 
• Jet, the moment the light hit him, got knocked back against the wall. He screams, as he is blind and his whole body in burning. No one can see anything, except the Emperor and the Prince since the dragon powers have no real effect on them. 
• Prince Ren steps a little closer and looks with awe at Leona. “He looks like a dragon dad!” he says while grabbing his father’s clothe. 
• The light purifies everything it touches. She feels as if her body was on fire. The light starts pulling back in and disappears, as her eyes turn back to normal. She looks around and tries to stand but she can’t and loses consciousness.
