Chapter 9

After drinking six bowls of wine, Jack had reached his limit. His head throbbed with pain and dizziness. In a daze, he stumbled onto a haystack and fell asleep soon thereafter.
In his dreams, he was brought back to his childhood, back in the faraway Ancient City of Lightning.
He saw his mother, his father, his younger sister, and many other familiar faces.
