Chapter 14
- Jack searched carefully in the dark and damp forests, trying to find a spot where he could move around undercover . His understanding of the nearby forests and mountains was far less than that of Addison, a disciple of Herb Mountain. They would not be as reckless as they were at the beginning. Perhaps they were already plotting murder to Jack. Jack would fall into their trap if he was not careful.
- That being said, the forest was full of dangers. Although Jack was infinitely cautious, he still suffered several unforeseen attacks from the spirit demons. One time, when Jack was hiding from the white leopard in front of him, a black eagle suddenly fell from the sky, broke through the branches,
- and pounced on him, almost grabbing his neck with its black claws.
