Chapter 70

She woke up to the blinding light and grimaced. She looked around frantically, wondering where she was. She felt restricted so she looked down to see her hands tied up to her back. It dawned on her then, that she had been kidnapped. Her head felt heavy and it felt like it was being banged on. Her eyes widened and she shook slightly, wanted to feel her baby's presence in her and she heaved a sigh of relief when she heard the soft kick. Her baby was fine, she closed her eyes briefly. Brent, she was sure he would be searching for her. How long had she been here? She had no idea. But the dried blood on her temple and the hunger she felt told her she had been here for long.
She squinted her eyes as she noticed a figure, it was the silhouette of a man and his back was turned to her. He turned to face her and his face broke into an evil smile.
" You're finally awake, princess " He smirked.
