Chapter 61

• Mel woke up the next morning feeling different and excited. It was different from her usual morning sickness she liked this new feeling. Raising her right hand, she looked at the ring which glittered in the sun and she smiled. Standing up, she walked to the full-length mirror and stared at the little bump of her stomach. Her pregnancy was beginning to show as it protruded and people would start to notice, she thought.
• " Mrs Blackwood " She mumbled to herself, smiling and swinging the ring back and forth, its brightness almost blinding her. She removed her glasses and put in contact lenses. She went downstairs after preparing for work. She felt so good that even after wolfing down some bacon eggs and toast, she didn't feel vomit up her throat. She heard some footsteps and looked up. Luci stopped in her tracks, surprised that Mel was still home.
• " Is something wrong? You're late for work " She pointed out and looked at Mel thoroughly. She frowned " Your bump is becoming obvious " She observed, looking at Mel's stomach.
