• "I've been getting these strange messages, messages from Sam's phone. It looks like someone has Sam's phone and is texting me from Sam's phone," Cole said, his voice low and urgent. "Threats, Gabby. Someone has been threatening me, and I think it's someone very close, someone that knows that I'm investigating Sam's death. The person is in possession of Sam's phone right now."
• He paused, his eyes scanning the room as if he feared being overheard or he was trying to catch the person that was secretly staring at him from a corner.
• "At first, I thought it was just a prank, maybe I was hallucinating, but… The messages are getting worse. They're saying they'll hurt me, they said they'll hurt you too… and I think they might be serious. I got another one yesterday and I don't think the person wants to play around again."
