Chapter 20

• I hear a noise like a commotion and I get up from bed wondering what could cause such a racket at this time of the night. I inch closer to the middle of the room and I see blood spreading across the floor. I follow the trail to see Cathy's body and see a set of feet beside her body. I took a step back in fear.
• “Hey Gabby, finally awake I see. I thought you wouldn't wake up.” I hear a voice and immediately recognise it to be Kaden’s. I look at him in shock and my attention drifts towards the body on the floor again which I recognized to be Cathy's.
• My eyes were wide open like saucers, adrenaline hormones were already pumping through my veins.
