Chapter 1
- If only she had known that this night would change her whole life, she wouldn’t be putting on her army green see-through chiffon crop top. The one Jess had gotten for her from her trip home.
- It was the last year of college and the girls had decided to start it with a night of their lives. Not caring that the next day was the first day of school, they had decided to attend the party of a lifetime, and not even Jess’s late return would stop them.
- June had finished her make-up and was happy with how the crop top looked on her. She loved how her two best friends always knew the right size to get for her each time they wanted to buy her clothes. She loved how the shirt fit her perfectly, almost making her love how full her breasts were, and that wasn’t something she did every day.
- “Ready?” Jess yells from her room
- The trio had rented a three-bedroom apartment after the end of the last semester. They were still getting used to having separate rooms, but it was a dream come true.
- “Ready!” Fiona yells back, stepping out of her room dressed in her leather mini skirt and a dark blue jean corset, accompanied by her black heels.
- “June! Anytime now” Fiona calls
- “It’s a club, who goes early?” June says, coming out of her room, her black leather boots storming the ground with each step she took
- “Damn girl” Jess exclaims
- “I know, I know, I can’t help but look this good” June jokes, twirling for the girls to see
- “Remind me again how you’re still single?” Fiona asks
- “I wish I knew Fiona, I wish I knew” June replied, shaking her head
- “Alright then, let’s go have some fun and make a whole lot of bad decisions,” Jess says excitedly
- “You speak my language Jess” June adds, picking up her bag from the living room as they all exit their house, giggling and excited about the rest of the night.
- #######################################
- He was done!
- He had had enough of her crap, this was the last straw, the absolute last. How long did he think he could keep forgiving her? Wasn’t two years long enough? Well, it was to him and anyone who said otherwise could burn in hell, because tonight he was done.
- “Get out!” he yelled, his eyes red and his anger level high
- He hated that he could not hit her, he wanted to so bad, but he couldn’t, he wasn’t that kind of man, he wished he was, but he wasn’t
- “Please, I can explain” she begged, holding her clothes to her chest, just like every other time he caught her
- “Get the fuck out of my house Cassandra!” he barks, his veins threatening to pop out of his forehead and neck. He was livid, disgusted, and hurt beyond repair
- “I love you, please” she cried, falling to her knees as her pleading continued
- “I do not want to fucking hear your crap, get out before I throw you out!”
- “One more chance baby, it’s all I’m asking please”
- The nerve of this woman, he thought. One more chance? How many one more chances does a man give? How many one more chances pushes a man to a place of no return?
- “This would be the last time I’d say this, next time, I’ll be throwing you out. Get the fuck out of my fucking house!” he roars, he was angry, all he saw was red and so help him, God, if she stayed another minute.
- He watched as the tears dried from her eyes instantly, just as the million times before. She was a manipulator, a very good one. But for the first time in two years, it didn’t work on him.
- “I’ll be calling my lawyers,” she said coldly, staring dead into his eyes.
- Perfect! This was it, what he needed, her to tap out willingly
- “Do that. Now leave” he tells her one last time
- He watched as she put on her gown, picked up her keys from the table, and headed out. He looked around, hating everything in the house, everything she had touched or even looked at. He needed to get out of this place, he needed a release, and what better place to do that than a club, a boisterous, full club, and lots of drinks?
- He heads into the shower, has a five-minute bath, and comes out. He opened his drawer, bringing out the only perfume that wasn’t bought by that whore, glad it was something she had never touched, he sprayed it. He looked in the mirror, liking how his hair fell in a parted fringe, it made him look younger than his age and he liked that and decided to leave it as it was. He picked up his keys and headed out, her face still planted in his memory, making him madder than he was every passing minute.
- He hated himself for putting up with her shit for so long, but no more, he was free and he would celebrate it tonight.
- ####################################
- “I knew this place would be packed, but this is a lot!” Jess yells
- The music was so loud, that yelling was the only way to communicate properly
- “The more the merrier Jess” Fiona says, her lungs hurting in the process
- “I’ll go get us some drinks, sounds good?” June asks
- “Not yet! Now, we dance!” Fiona yells, pulling June and Jess to the dance floor
- The dance floor was full, every gender and specie of humans danced their lives away. Men grinding women and women twisting every cell in their waists. It was euphoric, they could feel the beat of the speakers underneath their feet, and their hearts pounded as hard as the speakers did. It was perfect.
- The girls danced and danced, holding each other as they twirled and swayed their hips from side to side. There was no one in the world but them, and they loved it so very much. Jess rubbed and held June’s ass as she twerked in front of her, Fiona’s hands on June’s breasts, and June held her swaying hips.
- The girls were everything they needed for each other and they could be their truest selves with themselves. They didn’t need anyone else, they somehow completed one another. Every new song that came on, made them scream and jump and sent them dancing. Fiona turns to the guy behind her, wrapping her arms around his neck as she gets lost in his movement. Who cared if he was a total stranger? He smelt like alcohol and sex and she like that already.
- June and Jess smile at each other as they watch Fiona and the stranger dance. June tapped on Jess’s shoulder, signaling her to a guy who had been staring at her for a while now. Jess smiles and asks if June would be okay without her and June gives a nod and urges her to go meet him. She needed to sit for a minute, her legs hurt from all the dancing.
- June watches as Jess walks over to the guy, smiling as she sees her two best friends having the time of their lives, just the way they had planned. She walks over to the counter and orders a drink, she takes her first sip, enjoying the burn and sting that comes from the alcohol
- “It’s unfair you had to stop dancing” she hears a voice say beside her
- “Sorry?” June turns to him, freezing at the sight before her.
