Chapter 9

• Sarah's entire body is still hurting, but it was all like a bubble that suddenly vanished because of what Demetri said. Her hatred for him erupted once more.
• How dare he say such a thing? How dare he say all of this nonsense to me! What right does he have to say those things to me when he was the one who hurt me in the first place? If only he knew. If only he knew what I'd been through. If only he knew how much hardship I went through as a result of it.
• And everything seemed to come back to her in an instant. Everything that happened to her five years ago. She remembered the adversity, pain, and suffering that she felt that day. All of her pain, all of her memories, had returned to her. It was as if she went back in time where she begged and called Demetri's name several times for him to come and save her, but he didn't. Instead, he simply broke her heart and shattered it into pieces.
