Chapter 41

• Richard's grip on Sarah's hair tightened, causing Sarah to hiss in pain and when their eyes met, Demetri couldn't find anything to say. He wanted to comfort her, to tell her that it's gonna be okay. He wanted to tell her how much he loved her but he couldn't. There seemed to be a blockage in his throat. All he could do was cry.
• But Richard grabbed his attention when he spoke. "See? She's fine. She's still breathing."
• His eyes blazed with anger as he looked at his cousin. He doesn't know why he does this. He had no idea but whatever the reason was, he was only sure of one thing.
