- Sarah tried so hard to resist her cries but she failed because her weak sobs still escaped.
- Demetri tenderly made her turn around to look at him before he wiped away her tears that were already falling.
- Then he stared at her face intently as if he was memorizing her face. He caressed her tear-stained cheek. "I thought when I made the plan to take revenge on you, I would be relieved, that I would be happy but I was wrong. Because every time I see the pain in your eyes, the pain I feel here is twice as much." He pointed to his own chest where his heart is located. "Every time you cry, I want to hurt myself because I know I'm the one who made you cry. Every time you say that you hate me, I feel like my heart is slowly being slaughtered in pain. Then I realized one day, you are still the owner of my heart. I was just taken over by anger but my love for you is still here. Even a few years later, my heart is still beating for you." Sarah's tears flowed non-stop. She wanted to stop her tears from falling but she just couldn't. "I tried to make you feel my love. Even if you don't respond every time I say "I love you", it's fine because I'm still with you. I thought that would last, but I was wrong." His eyes held pain and sorrow. "You were kidnapped then you left me again. When I woke up from the coma, I immediately looked for you first but you weren't there. I was so worried because I thought something had happened to you only to find out that you left me again. For the second time, you left me again. But this time, it was more painful, more deadly. The person I hoped I would be the first to see when I woke up left me. For one and a half years, Sarah, I feel like I am slowly dying. Do you know what's the only thing that's making me sane?
