• “Alpha Damien,” Alan bowed on seeing the men in front of the hall. “High Howlers,” he greeted the rest.
• Damien sighed and glanced around. “I know you would be wondering about our unannounced visit but this should answer your question. Step forward,” he commanded and Elder Maximus stepped out from behind the men. Alan closed his eyes and sighed in dejection. “I trust you know why we are here now, don’t you?”
• “Alpha Damien, please understand that we are trying to gather the information as well and I was sure to bring the news to you once we have enough things to tell you,” Alan said.
