• Everyone looks at each other in response to Alpha Aoron's question. He observes them with a mixture of pride and sadness as he hears his two children express their desire to stay on Earth rather than ascend to the celestial realm with them.
• "Yes, Dad, we're sure. I don't want to stop being a wolf either," Enril says, merging into the werewolf Gael, who receives him happily, as does Leia's wolf. "We'll stay as we are, in the pack."
• "Are you sure that's what you want?" the Elder Archon, Aoron, asks again.
