Chapter 36 My Half

  • When the Archons were accused and condemned because they had defied the divine forces, their insolence was punished by higher command. The goddess Luna, who exercised her influence over the nature and transformation of the Lycanthropes, was given the task of confining the rebels to a form of existence that would constantly remind them of their disobedience.
  • However, the task assigned to the goddess Luna was complex and challenging. The Archons were superior beings, whose essence was rooted in the duality of the divine and the human. Their nature transcended the limitations of the creatures that inhabited the world. Therefore, simply housing them in existing created beings would not suffice.
  • The goddess Luna endeavoured to comply with the mandate but soon realised that she could not completely separate the wolf soul from the human soul and introduce the Archons instead. Instead of nullifying one of the essences, a unique and mysterious fusion occurred when she tried. The Archons inhabited the Lycanthropes and became beings with three existences in one body: the wolf, the human, and the Archon.
