Chapter 61 Trap

• Everyone present expectantly surrounded the Major Archon, Aren, who lay motionless with his eyes closed. The fear and ignorance about what was happening filled them with dread, and their hearts beat rapidly. Seraphim placed a trembling hand on Aren's forehead, and in an instant, something strange began to happen. Aren transformed into his wolf, Oto, but something wasn't right. A bright red light enveloped him, and his eyes turned that same shade of crimson as well. He looked at them intently, but he didn't seem to recognise them; he growled at them threateningly, and they all turned into wolves out of inertia. The atmosphere was thick with tension and anguish, while those present cautiously retreated from the menacing gaze of the Oto wolf.
• Gil, paralysed by fear, watched in horror as Oto turned towards her, launching a powerful beam of red energy at her. The impact caused her to fall to the ground, and a piercing scream escaped her lips. His eyes opened, and two intense rays of red light came out of them, connecting with Oto's eyes. Seraphim and Enril tried to get closer to help but were repelled by the force of the red energy that surrounded them.
• Pain and confusion intertwined on Gil's face as she continued to scream, feeling the transformation take over her. Slowly, she turned into her wolf, Lúa, with her eyes also tinted red. She turned to the others, growling menacingly, unable to recognise them.
